April in Outfits
When was the last time you had a big, fat slice of humble pie? I’ll tell you mine; it was related to this very blog post.
I had originally intended to start a little series where I would recap the outfits I had worn in a month and then also document where I had worn them: the idea being combining outfit deets with micro reviews of different places. I mentally penned the series ‘Wore, Where?’ and I thought this was pure genius, it’s snappy with a bit of alliteration- glorious.
Sadly, when I told my friend Lydia about ‘Wore, Where?’ Instead of being in awe of my creative direction as I had imagined, she and the [lovely] waitress at Basement Sate in Soho were reduced to hysterical laughter as apparently it sounds like I’m giving tips on medieval fashion or the most appropriate attire for the Battle of Hastings or otherwise.
Naturally, I’m gutted, mostly because it’s true. I appreciate that if you aren’t privy to the spelling of ‘wore’ your mind might go to ‘war’ first.
So, since I do not wish to throw it back to 1066, ‘Wore,Where?’ is no longer, but please see below some of my April fits.
